About Bayview Boards
Meet Chris, founder of Bayview Boards.
Bayview Boards is a family owned sawmill company founded in 2004 with the purchase of a Linn Mill sawmill from Linn County, Oregon. Chris' family has owned approximately 40 acres of mature trees since 1953, and the necessity for milling became obvious when a few fallen trees each year needed to be used. In 2004, he purchased his first sawmill and have been milling logs for others and collecting unique wood locally to use for projects ever since.
Fun facts about Chris, his favorite tree is Red Cedar, he likes to race sail boats in the Puget Sound, and he also has a Border Collie named Moekie who loves to help him debark trees.
